Hey, i was searching from different versions of "He Surano Chandra vha" and that's hw reached your site. I have great respect for Panditaji & also like Shounak a lot. When i heard you, i could see their impression. Recently Devki Pandit had mentioned that this song should be sung in a bit subdued way (not agressively) taking into account its meaning. (though the Raga is utarang pradhan). But i personally liked the way you have sung it & the lady Archana Kanhere (from Panditaji's album Swarabhishek). BTW one feels so good when someone like you keep classical going in US (when our own nextgen is crazy about creatures like Himesh Reshamiya.)

It was indeed heartening to visit your website and to get an opportunity to listen to your rendition of a few popular natyageets and a bhajan. While I compliment you on your choice of career, your choice of Gurus and the efforts you have been putting into 'jigar, taleem and hisaab' (as mentioned in the play Katyar Kaljaat Ghusali)i have a few suggestions and am taking this liberty to put them across to you. Cultivate more 'dum-saas' and make it a point to pronounce each & every word of the song correctly. For eg. in Devaragharche Dnyat Kunala, the word 'Saadhak' tends to sound sometimes as 'saadak'. Abhishekibua was very particular about this aspect and even otherwise its proper to do so. Please accept my views in the best spirit. All the very best and I look forward to hearing more of you..!
